Eligibility Details

For each post, the essential qualifications vary. Below are the post-wise essentials (summarized):

Veterinary Officer

• B.V.Sc. & A.H. from a university established by law in India or equivalent
• Registered with UP Veterinary Council
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree/diploma or higher qualification; Territorial Army service for 2 years; NCC 'B' certificate

Vetting Officer

• Bachelor of Arts (with English or Hindi literature) or Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce with 50% marks AND three years LLB with 50% marks; OR five years LLB with 50% marks
• Desirable: Territorial Army service for 2 years; NCC 'B' certificate; Post-graduate degree in Law

Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari

• Master’s degree in Sociology or any social science discipline (e.g., Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, etc.)
• Desirable: Experience in extension work, family welfare training, Territorial Army for 2 years, NCC 'B' certificate

Inspector of Drugs

• Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with clinical pharmacology or microbiology
• 18 months manufacturing/testing experience in Schedule C substances OR 3 years in inspection of drug manufacturing firms
• Desirable: Territorial Army service or NCC 'B' certificate

Dental Surgeon

• B.D.S. from a recognised university; Rotary Internship completed before last date; UP Dental Council registration
• Desirable: Territorial Army service or NCC 'B' certificate

Chikitsa Adhikari (Ayurved)

• Degree in Ayurveda or five-year Ayurvedic degree/diploma; Vaidya registration in UP
• At least 6 months’ professional experience in state Ayurvedic or allopathic hospital or dispensary
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Ayurveda

Medical Officer Community Health (Ayurvedic and Unani)

• Degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib; Vaidya/Hakeem registration in UP
• At least 6 months’ professional experience in Ayurveda, Unani, or allopathic hospital/dispensary
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib; Territorial Army service or NCC certificate

Chikitsa Adhikari (Unani)

• Degree in Unani Tib or five-year degree/diploma in Unani Tib; Hakeem registration in UP
• At least 6 months’ professional experience in state Unani or allopathic hospital
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Unani Tib

Chikitsa Adhikari (Homoeopathic)

• Recognised degree in Homoeopathy (min. 5 years) or recognised diploma (min. 4 years); registration with UP Homoeopathic Medicine Board

Homoeopathic Medical Officer

General Instructions

• Online application only via the O.T.R. (One Time Registration) system. Other modes will not be accepted.
• Candidates must obtain an O.T.R. number at least 72 hours before applying.
• Knowledge of Hindi is essential for all posts.
• Domicile benefits are available only to domiciled UP residents.
• EWS certificates must be valid for the application year; the gross annual income must match requirements.
• Caste certificates must be issued by the appropriate authority in prescribed format.
