Age Details

• Senior Resident under Three Year Scheme: Not more than 45 years as on the date of interview (relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
• Full Time / Part Time Specialist: Not more than 67 years as on the date of interview.

Eligibility Details

Senior Resident under Three Year Scheme

• MBBS with a PG Degree/Diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty OR MBBS with two years of working experience in the concerned department. Preference will be given to PG Degree-qualified candidates. For ICU Senior Resident posts, MD/Diploma/DNB in Medicine, Anesthesia or Pulmonary Medicine with critical care experience, or MBBS with 2 years’ experience in Critical Care may also be considered.

Full Time / Part Time Specialist

• PG Degree/Diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized university and registered with MCI or Karnataka Medical Council. Preference will be given to PG Degree candidates.
• Specialist for Accident & Emergency may be from MD Accident & Emergency or MD Medicine/MD Anesthesia, or Diploma/DNB in Anesthesia / MD Pulmonary Medicine / Diploma/DNB with intensive care experience / DM or Diploma/DNB in Critical Care.

• Location: Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Peenya, Bengaluru

Other Instructions

• Recruitment is contractual; there is no claim for regularization.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining.
• Selected candidates must join immediately or within 15 days from the offer.
• Hostel accommodation, quarters, uniforms, and transport allowance are not provided.
• Candidates seeking reservation/age relaxation must possess valid certificates in prescribed Central Government format.
• Private practice is strictly prohibited; a non-practicing allowance may be provided where applicable.
• Senior Residents under the three-year scheme require a security deposit of Rs. 95,000; part may be retained if the contract terminates within one year.
• Full Time/Part Time Specialists require a security deposit of Rs. 30,000.
• Selected Specialists must obtain a professional indemnity policy as prescribed for their specialty and submit a copy within 7 days of engagement.
• ESIC reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies and to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
